Find out more about the Martial Arts Code application with this webinar and checklist.
Achieving the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts will recognise clubs and providers who’ve demonstrated that they’ve reached and maintained good safeguarding standards. It’ll empower parents and carers to make informed decisions when selecting a club or provider for their child.
If you need any help or support along the way please email info.safeguardingcode@tes.com If you need to complete a face to face safeguarding training here’s a link to a Virtual classroom course.
It is also advised that you use the 2 checklists below in advance of applying to make sure that you have everything in place before you start the application online. (There’s a slight difference in the requirement for a sole trader/ individual instructor that relates to declaring a criminal record but otherwise there’s little difference.)
