Welcome to the Sported Funding Bulletin. This page is here to help you find funding opportunities that may be available to your group or organisation.
We know that funding is a priority for many groups in our network, and that finding the right opportunity can sometimes feel complicated.
Use the search and filter options on this page to narrow down the list of funds.

You can search by keyword, or tick the filters that apply to you and select Apply Filters. This will make the list shorter and help you find funds that may be a good match.
Each fund has its own eligibility criteria. If you find a fund that looks suitable, please open the website link and read the guidance carefully before applying.
Finding a fund is an important first step, but it is not the only part of securing funding. If you need more support, you can also explore the resources available on the Hub.

Thorntons Law LLP is offering discretionary funding. Grants for charitable organisations in Angus, Dundee, Perth and Kinross, Aberdeenshire and Kincardineshire to support a range of projects to benefit local residents. AEB Charitable Trust 16481
AEB Charitable Trust is offering funding of up to £10,000. Grants are available to registered charities in Edinburgh, the Lothians, and the Scottish Borders for projects focused on animal welfare, the environment, health, culture, and support for retired members of the Armed Forces. The Trust supports charities carrying out work under the following themes: The promotion of interests of wildlife, ecology and nature. Deadline: 30 November 2026.
Aldi Scottish Sport Fund (Edinburgh and the Lothians) 16454
Aldi Scotland is offering funding of up to £3,000. One-off grants are available through a random regional draw for local sports clubs in Scotland to support work in their local community. The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund is open in areas across Scotland where there is currently an Aldi store. Deadline: 25 October 2026.
East Lothian - Community Intervention Fund 16483
East Lothian Council is offering funding of up to £50,000. Grant for capital projects to support community groups in East Lothian. The aim of the Community Intervention Fund is to provide grants towards capital projects for a wide range of local community groups in East Lothian. Deadline: 30 November 2026.
Endrick Trust 16241
Endrick Trust is offering funding of up to £50,000. Funding is available to registered charities in Greater Glasgow for general charitable purposes, in particular the relief of poverty and community development. Funding is available to support charitable causes in the Greater Glasgow area.

Foundation Scotland - EDF Renewables Dorenell Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund 16482
EDF Power Solutions is offering funding of up to £30,000. Grants are available for community-led, charitable projects that benefit the local residents in the community council areas of Dufftown, Auchindoun, Glenrinnes, Glenlivet, Inveravon and Cabrach in Moray. Foundation Scotland - Kinross-shire Fund 16456
Kinross-shire Fund is offering funding of up to £3,000. Grants are available for charities and voluntary organisations to support activity which will develop the vibrant life of the local community and ensure that the area is an attractive place to live, work and visit. Kinross-shire raises funds from individuals and companies, which are used to make grants to local charities and voluntary organisations. Deadline: 26 October 2026.
Gannochy Trust 16188
Gannochy Trust is offering discretionary funding. Grants are available across Scotland for work that aims to inspire young people under 21 years of age; and for projects in Perth and Kinross that aim to improve the quality of life for local people, develop and inspire young people or improve the availability/quality of the built and natural environment for wide community use. The Gannochy Trust aims to make a positive difference to people living in Scotland, and in Perth and Kinross in particular, in fields such as community, sport, culture including art, music and dance, youth work, environment, health and wellbeing and heritage.

John Watson's Trust 16244
John Watson's Trust is offering discretionary funding. Grants are available for education purposes to children and young people under the age of 21 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and West Lothian who have a physical or learning disability or who are socially disadvantaged. The Trust awards grants for educational purposes to children and young people under the age of 21 who have a physical or learning disability, or who are socially disadvantaged.

Mainshill Trust is offering discretionary funding. Grants are available to local community groups for projects and activities which benefit the community of Douglas in South Lanarkshire. The Trust exists for the public benefit of Douglas. Deadline: 31 October 2026.
North Lanarkshire - Community Grants 16458
North Lanarkshire Council is offering funding of up to £1,000. Grants are available to voluntary and community groups in North Lanarkshire for projects or activities that will benefit the local community. The aim of the Community Grants scheme is to provide financial support to organisations in North Lanarkshire for projects or activities that bring benefit to the local community in a short timescale. Deadline: 30 October 2026.
North Lanarkshire - Grant Awards Programme (GAP) 16245
North Lanarkshire Council is offering funding of up to £10,000. Grants are available to voluntary and community groups in North Lanarkshire for projects or activities that will benefit the local community. The aim of the annual Grant Award Programme is to offer discretionary funding to community and voluntary organisations who contribute to the North Lanarkshire Partnership.

Queensberry House Trust 16077
Queensberry House Trust is offering funding of up to £15,000. Grants are available to registered charities and social enterprises in Edinburgh and the Lothians for projects focused on improving the lives of vulnerable older people. The Trust's objective is ' the advancement of citizenship and community development (including the promotion of civic responsibility, volunteering, the voluntary sector or the effectiveness or efficiency of charities), and also having regard, but not exclusively, to the locality.

South Lanarkshire Council - Renewable Energy Fund Grants 16078
South Lanarkshire Council is offering grants for community-based capital projects within 10km of a participating renewable energy development in South Lanarkshire. Main grants of over £20,000 are avilable as well as smaller grants of less than £20,000.

SSE Drumderg Wind Farm Community Fund 16449
Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) is offering funding of up to £10,000. Financial assistance is available to groups and organisations working for the benefit of communities surrounding the Drumderg Wind Farm. The Drumderg Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund is a charitable fund to benefit residents of Alyth and Mount Blair in Eastern Perthshire. Deadline: 12 October 2026.
SSE Renewables - Griffin and Calliachar Wind Farm Community Fund 16451
SSE is offering discretionary funding. Grants are available to charities, community groups, and other non-profit organisations in communities near the Grifffin and Calliachar wind farms. This fund aims to support projects and activities that benefit communities in areas local to the Griffin and Calliachar wind farms that: Enhance the quality of life for residents. Deadline: 15 October 2026.
Stirling - Community Get Active Fund 16070
Stirling Council is offering funding of up to £1,000. Grants for local groups and organisations to deliver sport and physical activities for children and young people aged 3 to 26 years old. The Fund aims to support inclusive physical activities to encourage children and young people (aged 3 to 26 years old) to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
