We know that funding is a priority for many groups in our network, and that finding the right opportunity can sometimes feel complicated.
Use the search and filter options on this page to narrow down the list of funds.

You can search by keyword, or tick the filters that apply to you and select Apply Filters. This will make the list shorter and help you find funds that may be a good match.
Each fund has its own eligibility criteria. If you find a fund that looks suitable, please open the website link and read the guidance carefully before applying.
Finding a fund is an important first step, but it is not the only part of securing funding. If you need more support, you can also explore the resources available on the Hub.

Foundation Scotland - Caithness Futures Fund 16463
RWE Renewables UK Limited is offering funding of up to £20,000. Grants to support and strengthen community groups in Caithness. The aim of the scheme is to help community groups in Caithness. Deadline: 31 October 2026.
Foundation Scotland - Halkirk District Benefit Fund 16464
Nadara is offering funding of up to £25,000. Grants are available for projects to benefit residents and the community in the Halkirk District Community Council area (includes Altnabreac, Banniskirk, Calder, Georgemas, Harpsdale, Spittal, Mybster, Westerdale). The Fund aims for sustainable development including: Advancing citizenship or community development within Halkirk District. Deadline: 31 October 2026.
Foundation Scotland - Stroupster Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund 16476
Greencoat UK Wind is offering funding of up to £25,000. Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations for projects that mainly benefit the communities of Dunnet and Canisbay, Caithness. The Fund aims support a wide range of activities and projects to primarily benefit the communities of Dunnet and Canisbay, Caithness. Deadline: 15 November 2026.
Foundation Scotland - Tannach and District Wind Farm Trust 16465
Gresham House Asset Management is offering funding of up to £25,000. Grants are available for a range of activities and projects to benefit the local communities of Tannach and District. The Fund aims to support community activity and development in the Tannach District area, and a wide range of projects are funded. Deadline: 31 October 2026.
Soirbheas Community Grants 16242
Soirbheas is offering funding of up to £50,000. Grants for a range of projects and activities to benefit residents in the community council areas of Glen Urquhart and Strathglass. The aim of the scheme is to support local initiatives that help protect the environment, provide training and promote employment opportunities, and projects that help make the communities of Glen Urquhart and Strathglass more resilient.

SSE Fairburn Community Fund 16455
Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) is offering funding of up to £25,000. The Fund aims to benefit the Contin, Marybank, Scatwell & Strathconon communities in the Scottish Highlands that are affected by the construction and operation of the Fairburn Wind Farm. The Fund aims to benefit communities affected by the construction and operation of the Fairburn Wind Farm. Deadline: 25 October 2026.
SSE Hydro Community Fund 16488
SSE Renewables is offering funding of up to £100,000. Grants for a range of local community projects in community council areas of the north of Scotland that host hydro electric facilities. The aims of the new Fund are to support local community, environmental, and socio-economic projects in community council areas in the north of Scotland that host hydro electric assets. Deadline: 10 December 2026.
SSE Strathy North 16467
Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) is offering funding of up to £25,000. Grants are available to support a range of projects to benefit the local communities of: Bettyhill, Strathnaver and Altnaharra; Melvich; and Strathy and Armadale. The Fund aims to build the sustainability of the local communities as vibrant places to live, work and visit, and support the development of a range of activities and services available to the communities; Deadline: 31 October 2026.
