Funding to support organisations and communities to make use of empty or vacant properties in Glasgow city centre on a short-term basis.

Grants of between £100 and £25,000 are available for community groups, charities, and voluntary organisations to support projects that benefit communities in Northern Scotland.
Greggs Foundation - Community Grants 15043
Grants for core running costs are available to not-for-profit community organisations in Craigmillar and Granton in Edinburgh, Newcastle and North Tyneside for projects tackling social deprivation. N.B there are some restrictions on sports clubs so read the eligibilty criteria carefully before applying.
Amount: up to £20,000 per year over a period of two years
Highlands and Islands Enterprise - Community Right to Buy Fund 15044
Grants are available to support community groups in the Highlands and Islands in registering their interest in purchasing land or buildings.

Grants are available for organisations in Dumfries and Galloway working with young people (15-25 years) particularly those experiencing mental, physical and social disadvantage. Projects should contribute to young people's personal development in a tangible way.

National Lottery Awards for All - Scotland 14981
Grants are available for voluntary, community and public sector organisations in Scotland to carry out projects that will improve local communities and the lives of people most in need.
- For arts and sports projects, applications can be made for up to £10,000 supporting projects for up to 12 months.
- For community-led projects (that are not primarily arts or sport focused), applications can be made for up to £20,000 per year supporting projects for up to two years.
National Lottery Community Fund - Community Action (Scotland) 14996
Grants are available to voluntary and community organisations in Scotland for community-led projects that build open and inclusive community cohesion.
Amount: between £20,001 and £250,000 for up to five years
National Lottery Community Fund - Fairer Life Chances (Scotland) 14997
Grants are available to voluntary and community and public sector organisations in Scotland for projects that support children, young people and families, or help people to be healthier and have better access to support, with a focus on those experiencing poverty, discrimination and disadvantage.
Amount: between £20,001 and £500,000 for up to five years
National Lottery Community Fund - Strengthening Organisations (Scotland) 14982
Grants are available to voluntary and community organisations in Scotland that are currently receiving funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and work with people experiencing poverty, disadvantage, or discrimination to try out new approaches and projects or develop their current work.
Amount: between £300 to £50,000 for up to two years
National Lottery Community Fund - Young Start Fund 14998

One-off grants of around £1,000 are available for local community organisations and charities that have already secured matched funding for local community initiatives across England, Scotland and Wales.
Perth and Kinross - Common Good Funds 15047
Grants for local community groups to benefit the residents of the areas of Aberfeldy, Abernethy, Auchterarder, Alyth, Blairgowrie, Crieff, Kinross, Perth City and Pitlochry.
Quixwood Moor Wind Farm Fund 15048
Grants are available for local charities, community and voluntary groups, and other non-profit organisations for projects that benefit the local community around the area of the Quixwood Moor Wind Farm.

Renfrewshire - Green Spaces, Parks and Play Areas Fund 15049
Grants for community and voluntary groups for projects to sustainably improve and maintain the condition and use of a green space or community asset.

Robertson Trust (under £10,000 and registered charities) 14984
Grants are offered for registered charities (all Grants) and constituted community groups (Wee Grants only) that help people and communities in Scotland who are living with poverty and trauma. For more details of the kind of work funded, and the who and what check out their website.
The programmes currently open are:
- Wee Grants - Funding of up to £5,000 for one year only
- Small Grants - Revenue funding of between £5,000 and £20,000 for up to five years
- Large Grants - Revenue funding of between £20,000 and £50,000 for up to five years
- Transport Grants - Funding of up to £20,000 to contribute to the costs of transport to support a charity's work.
Ross and Liddell Community Bursaries 14985
Grants are available for local community groups and charities in Scotland to buy equipment and materials to improve the services they provide to their local communities.
Russell Trust 15008
Grants are available to registered charities for a wide range of charitable purposes in the UK, with a preference for Scotland. Most grants are in the range of between £250 and £2,000. One or two larger grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 may be awarded annually. The Trust has a wide criteria for grant making including the advancement of public participation in sport.

Scottish Borders Council - Community Enhancement Fund 15050
Grants of up to £5000 are available for not-for-profit organisations to support community projects that benefit residents in the Scottish Borders including those in the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving condition of life for the person for who the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
Scottish Communities Finance - Social Enterprise Bridging Loan (under and over £10,000) 14986
The scheme is intended to provide third sector organisations in Scotland with short-term loans that are used to bridge periods when expected income doesn't arrive as originally agreed or planned.
Loans of between £1,000 and £15,000 are available. Loans are for no more than six months.
Scottish Gambling Education Hub - Gambling Education Youth Fund 14987
Grants of up to £1,000 are available for groups of young people across Scotland to deliver gambling education and prevention projects and activities.
Scottish Land Fund - National Lottery 14999
Grants are available to help urban and rural communities in Scotland take ownership of the land and buildings that matter to them, as well as practical support to develop their aspirations into viable projects.
Amount:
- Stage 1 Technical Assistance Grants range from between £2,500 to £30,000 with an average grant of around £10,000. This funding is intended to help prepare for the purchase of an asset.
- Stage 2 Acquisition Grants range from £5,000 to £1 million. This funding will cover capital and some revenue costs associated with the acquisition of assets.
SEAD Fund (Scottish Education And Action For Development) 14988
Small grants of £250 are available for small community groups and individuals to run or kick-start campaign activity that engages with people and has a demonstrable impact promoting social justice.
Shetland Islands - Community Led Local Development Fund 15051
Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations in Shetland for community development projects.

Loans are available to social enterprises and charities in Scotland to grow, develop new services, or strengthen their long-term sustainability.

Soirbheas Community Grants 15052
Grants for a range of projects and activities to benefit residents in the community council areas of Glen Urquhart and Strathglass.
There are three funding streams available:
- Tier 1 (Express Grants): up to £1,000 per annum.
- Tier 2: £1,000 to £20,000 for two years.
- Tier 3: £20,001 to £50,000 for capital projects.
South Lanarkshire - Playscheme Grants 15053
Financial assistance is available for groups to provide activities for children during school holidays in South Lanarkshire.

Grants are available to charitable organisations in Scotland who operate within sectors representing children, young people and sport.

SportScotland - Coach education subsidy funding 14989
Coach education subsidy funding aims to support the development of coaches through financial subsidies of the cost of their development and the attainment of relevant qualifications to complement their skills. The cost of a course can often be seen as a barrier to coaches participating in learning and development. Coach education subsidy funding is also in place to encourage Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) approaches and access to sport in different communities throughout Scotland.
sportscotland - Sports Facilities Fund 15001
Deadlines for submissions are 1 April and 1 September each year.
The Sport Facilities Fund (SFF) supports capital projects that create or improve places where people take part in sport and physical activity. To support projects that provide opportunities for people to get involved in and participate in sport & physical activity.
Projects that can clearly demonstrate an inclusive approach such as Changing Lives Through Sport and Physical Activity, or projects that target participants in/from SIMD areas, with additional needs, from ethnically diverse communities, or other protected characteristics will be prioritised.
