Welcome to the Sported Funding Bulletin. This page is here to help you find funding opportunities that may be available to your group or organisation.
We know that funding is a priority for many groups in our network, and that finding the right opportunity can sometimes feel complicated.
Use the search and filter options on this page to narrow down the list of funds.

You can search by keyword, or tick the filters that apply to you and select Apply Filters. This will make the list shorter and help you find funds that may be a good match.
Each fund has its own eligibility criteria. If you find a fund that looks suitable, please open the website link and read the guidance carefully before applying.
Finding a fund is an important first step, but it is not the only part of securing funding. If you need more support, you can also explore the resources available on the Hub.

Weir Charitable Trust is offering funding of up to £25,000. Grants are available to small charities or community groups in Scotland for work addressing sport, health, culture, animal welfare, or recreational facilities.

West Suffolk Council - Thriving Communities Fund 16327
West Suffolk Council is offering funding of up to £20,000. One-off grants are available to address the health and wellbeing of residents in West Suffolk, including support through the continuing cost-of-living crisis. The aim of the fund is help local residents access services and support as well as activities to improve their health and wellbeing.

Whitbread Plc Chairman's Fund 16106
Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation is offering funding of up to £5,000. Grants are available for locally based small charities and community groups in South Bedfordshire for projects that focus on skills and inclusion, reducing rural social isolation and community cohesion. The aim of the fund is to provide financial support to charities and community groups across South Bedfordshire, including Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding rural communities, as far as the county boundary to the south west.

Whitefield – Let’s Live Well: Stronger Spaces Fund 16296
Bury Voluntary and Community Faith Alliance (VCFA) is offering funding of up to £20,000. Grants are available for voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Whitefield to deliver projects and activities that improve community spaces and make a difference in local neighbourhoods. This fund aims to support the provision of capital grants that will enable groups to improve, adapt, or better use community buildings, thereby strengthening communities and improving lives for people in Whitefield.

William Dudley Trust is offering funding of up to £1,000. Grants are available for small Birmingham-based charities working to alleviate need, hardship and distress. Funding is intended to support projects run by small local charities to alleviate hardship, need or distress.

Wiltshire - Older People's Programme 16276
Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation is offering funding of up to £10,000. Grants are available to voluntary and community groups for projects in Wiltshire and Swindon supporting older people to be independent, healthy and socially included. The aim of the grant programme is to support the residents of Swindon and Wiltshire aged 65 and over through: Improving health and wellbeing.

Wiltshire and Swindon - Community Grants 16281
Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation is offering funding of up to £18,000. Grants are available for local or regional not-for-profit organisations working in Wiltshire or Swindon for projects focused on disadvantaged members of the community. The funding is intended for voluntary organisations improving people's lives and supporting communities in Wiltshire and Swindon.

Woodsmith Foundation is offering funding of up to £10,000. Grants are available for community groups, voluntary groups, registered charities, and other not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects and activities to benefit residents in Scarborough, Redcar and Cleveland, and the North York Moors National Park. This fund aims to support a wide variety of projects and activities that improve the lives of people living in the Foundation’s area of benefit in the following ways: Increase opportunities for better life chances.

YAPP Charitable Trust 16134
YAPP Charitable Trust is offering funding of up to £3,000. Grants to support the running costs of small registered charities in England and Wales working with elderly people, children and young people and people who have disabilities or mental health challenges, or working in the areas of social welfare or education and learning. The Yapp Charitable Trust makes grants to small charities in England and Wales to help sustain their existing work.

Ymddiried - Media Grants Cymru 16205
Grants are available to support individuals in Wales to extend their skills in television, film, radio and digital media, and to support organisations that promote the development of educational skills and resources for the creative industries, as part of the wider Ymddiried initiative. The funding is intended to support: Individuals to extend their skills from the traditional (such as TV, film and radio) to the digital (such as podcasts, virtual reality content and content for streaming platforms, e.g YouTube).

Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation - Small Change Big Difference Fund 16206
Yorkshire Building Society is offering funding of up to £2,500. Grants to support registered charities and good causes in local communities across the UK to alleviate poverty, improve health and save lives. The aims of the Fund are to alleviate poverty and improve health/save lives, particularly for those living in areas of deprivation.

Yorkshire Cricket Board (YCB) County Grants Fund 16261
England and Wales Cricket Trust is offering funding of up to £50,000. Grants are available to support ECB-affiliated cricket clubs that are actively engaged in women's and girls' cricket and/or disability cricket, and that aim to create positive and welcoming environment. Young Futures Fund 16294
Heart of Bucks Community Foundation is offering funding of up to £5,000. Grants for projects to benefit children and young people living in Buckinghamshire (excluding Milton Keynes). The aim of the fund is to improve the quality of life for children and young people (from birth to 30 years old).
