In this unit, you’ll find out more about using social media for your community sport group. Communicating and connecting online, for marketing and promotion can be daunting, this unit will guide you through the options.
We’ll look at using social media platforms in the context of sport for development groups, and why having a digital marketing strategy is important.
You’ll connect with other groups in the Sported network to share ideas and support each other. Along with support from Sported volunteer consultants and digital resources, you’ll be able to develop your knowledge and skills around using social media.
The unit includes several set tasks which will be reviewed by volunteers with expertise in digital marketing, helping you to grow your skillset and gain the confidence. At the end of the unit you’ll be ready to give your group a digital makeover.
