Aims of the workshops

• To enable those working in sports to better understand social prescribing and sports organisation’s roles and contributions to health and to better understand the perspectives of both sectors;
• To explore the possible benefits which could come from closer working and identify what differences could be made to people’s health outcomes by doing so;
• To understand the barriers and enablers to greater collaboration between the sectors
• To agree what further work would be helpful to do together to progress the ideas that come out of the workshop.
