Sported's Impact - 2021 / 2022
By Sported | 22nd August 2022
Today, we release our latest Impact Report which demonstrates how we have continued to support grassroots and community sports groups who provide a lifeline to young people across the UK over the past year.
With our network growing to almost 3000 groups who collectively reach over half a million young people, our free support ranges from webinars, resources, and volunteer support, to grant programmes, support with grant applications and opportunities for participation in local or national projects.

Include Project
First launching in Dundee and expanding to Glasgow and Northern Ireland, the Include Project works with groups in the Sported network to support groups to expand their work to young people with disabilities.
Keep Her Playing
Responding to research that 1 in 3 girls drop out of sports during puberty, 1000 groups received support with over £140,000 distributed to groups in this programme with Always.
Our regional work continued, with our staff across the UK supporting their groups and volunteers while leveraging their local networks to create further opportunities for Sported members in their regions to grow and become sustainable.
